SILVES MEDIEVAL TOUR

XXXXXX
30 min from Lagos there is a village that will send you back in time! Silves is a Portuguese village of orange-colored rooftops located on the banks of the river Arade.

This pretty town has two rather well-preserved castles, little winding streets, and a medieval wall built of red stones.

Silves castle was edified by the Arabs in the 11th century, very well looked after and smartly located to be well aware of any conflicts in the centuries before!

We’ll explore the town in depth and park up overlooking the village for a packed picnic or a BBQ with refreshments. If the timing is right we can pop into a winery on the way back to Lagos.

Inclusions: Packed BBQ or Picnic with plenty of booze.
